Short term life insurance is usually issued at the same time as short term health insurance, often a the time of a change in employment. In other words, the less expensive accidental death is more appropriate when used for short term coverage than it would be as a substitute for a long term life insurance policy.

To determine your home insurance price, insurers typically look at the following:1. Rebuilding cost of your home.2. Age of your home.3. Distance between your home and the nearest water source.4. Fire protection rating of your city.5. Your claims history and the claims history of others in your neighborhood.6. Your coverages, limits and deductible.

You can keep your policy's coverage if you choose, but you cannot also have Medicare coverage at the same time. Most medigap policies are not 'creditable' meaning they do not offer medical coverage as good as Medicare so you'd pay a late penalty if you decide to join Part D in the future.
